提到學(xué)校的金融財(cái)務(wù)與管理專業(yè)，你會(huì)想到什么？金融、投行、咨詢，或是銀行？即將畢業(yè)的章奎亮給了我們另一種答案。

在上學(xué)期的秋招中，他憑借不俗的學(xué)術(shù)成績(jī)和實(shí)習(xí)背景，一路過關(guān)斬將，在“最難求職季”斬獲了字節(jié)跳動(dòng)的游戲數(shù)據(jù)分析offer。

在記錄自己求職經(jīng)歷的文字中，章奎亮說自己是“一個(gè)非典型背景的人”——本科期間讀的是商科，職業(yè)方向卻走了技術(shù)路線，求職之路對(duì)“跨界”的他似乎也并不友好。

那么，他究竟是如何做到的呢？

火爆全校的小程序，出自他手

早在高中，章奎亮就獲得過全國(guó)信息學(xué)奧林匹克競(jìng)賽二等獎(jiǎng)，與計(jì)算機(jī)結(jié)下緣分。

大學(xué)期間，章奎亮選擇了自己同樣很喜歡的商科，但卻從未放棄計(jì)算機(jī)的愛好�；蛟S你沒聽說過他的名字，但只要是一名UNNCer，就一定知道uCourse和UNNCMap這兩款火爆全校的小程序。在uCourse里，你能找到學(xué)校所有課程的信息，從課程表到課程測(cè)評(píng)一站搞定。UNNCMap則可謂是寧諾版的谷歌地圖，能探索學(xué)校的各棟建筑，是初來乍到的新生們必備的小程序。這兩款小程序均隸屬uFair開發(fā)團(tuán)隊(duì)，而章奎亮正是團(tuán)隊(duì)的初創(chuàng)成員之一。

“我當(dāng)時(shí)負(fù)責(zé)程序開發(fā)�！边@次創(chuàng)業(yè)讓章奎亮開始學(xué)習(xí)寫代碼，他的技術(shù)能力隨之得到飛躍般提升，用戶數(shù)據(jù)倉庫的搭建、自動(dòng)化數(shù)據(jù)處理與分析的中臺(tái)系統(tǒng)開發(fā)都由他帶領(lǐng)團(tuán)隊(duì)一起完成。

漸漸地，這個(gè)致力于為寧諾學(xué)子提升學(xué)習(xí)體驗(yàn)的小程序擁有了越來越多用戶。團(tuán)隊(duì)從最開始的四五個(gè)人，壯大到三十人左右。uFair的創(chuàng)業(yè)成果也初步顯露，“現(xiàn)在每天平均有三千左右的日活、一萬多次的訪問量。”章奎亮對(duì)此十分自豪。

創(chuàng)業(yè)同時(shí)，他還在Coursera上學(xué)習(xí)了關(guān)于數(shù)據(jù)庫、數(shù)據(jù)可視化、編程語言、機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)等課程，課程數(shù)量和時(shí)長(zhǎng)甚至能和學(xué)校的專業(yè)課齊平。在這一路“雜食”中，章奎亮逐漸對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)分析有了更深入的了解。為了離這個(gè)領(lǐng)域更近一步，他選擇在大三之后gap一年，去滴滴出行國(guó)際化數(shù)據(jù)分析部門進(jìn)行全職實(shí)習(xí)。

工作期間，章奎亮根據(jù)業(yè)務(wù)指標(biāo)建立了自動(dòng)化場(chǎng)景挖掘方案，分析墨西哥乘客訂單取消率上升的原因；還通過乘客訂單的海量數(shù)據(jù)，建立機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)模型，預(yù)測(cè)乘客流失率和將來成交額，準(zhǔn)確率高達(dá)90%�！斑@次實(shí)習(xí)拓寬了我的視野，我更加認(rèn)定數(shù)據(jù)分析是自己想要的職業(yè)方向�！�

跨界求職，“雖千萬人吾往矣”

章奎亮原本計(jì)劃在本科之后去讀數(shù)據(jù)分析方向的研究生，卻被突如其來的疫情打亂陣腳�！爱�(dāng)時(shí)非常焦慮，”他這樣形容過去的那幾個(gè)月，“是朋友和老師的鼓勵(lì)給了我繼續(xù)前進(jìn)的自信和動(dòng)力。”學(xué)校身心健康指導(dǎo)中心主任Patti Wallace是他最想感謝的人�！皬拇笠坏酱笏�，Patti一直給予我很大幫助，讓我逐漸認(rèn)清自己的內(nèi)心，也終于能夠坦然面對(duì)人生中不可控的因素。”

最終，他決定放棄申研。

“學(xué)習(xí)商科教會(huì)我如何與人溝通合作，校內(nèi)創(chuàng)業(yè)讓我學(xué)會(huì)如何管理團(tuán)隊(duì)，在自學(xué)和實(shí)習(xí)中付出的努力讓我有勇氣面對(duì)技術(shù)上的挑戰(zhàn)，我想沖一沖秋招。”

章奎亮用3個(gè)詞總結(jié)自己的求職之路——艱辛、運(yùn)氣、實(shí)力�！坝龅竭^很多對(duì)我跨專業(yè)申請(qǐng)技術(shù)崗位的質(zhì)疑，也遇到過靠實(shí)力證明自己的高光時(shí)刻——看到面試官眼睛慢慢變亮，我知道自己并不差�！�

他在文字記述中寫道：

“和大部分人一樣，我遇到的失敗遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)多于成功。但是我相信，只要遵從自己內(nèi)心想做的事情，總有一天會(huì)有一道縫為我們打開。而我們要做的，就是從縫中鉆過去�！�

憑借著“商科+技術(shù)”這樣一份看似“割裂”的履歷，章奎亮終于拿到了自己滿意的offer。

即使確定了未來的方向，章奎亮依然閑不住，“得知今后團(tuán)隊(duì)的同事都很厲害，其中有來自杜克大學(xué)和香港中文大學(xué)的數(shù)據(jù)分析碩士生，我真的不敢停下來，”他說，“在正式入職前的這半年，我還會(huì)夯實(shí)一下以往學(xué)過的知識(shí)，并進(jìn)行一些拓展�！�

UNNC business student receives offer as data analyst

Kuiliang Zhang, a Year 4 Finance, Accounting and Management (FAM) student at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), recently received an offer from ByteDance as a game data analyst.

At high school, Kuiliang was interested in computer science and won second prize in the National Olympiad in Informatics. Although he chose FAM for his undergraduate study, he has never abandoned his interest in computer science.

As an initiator and co-founder of uFair, Kuiliang made significant contribution to the development of the two popular WeChat Mini Programmes, uCourse and UNNCMap, which dedicated to improving the learning experience for UNNC students. He and his team was responsible for the development of the user data warehouse and automatic data processing systems, during which his programming capabilities significantly improved.

In the meanwhile, Kuiliang spent a large amount of time on Coursera to learn things like databases, data visualisation and machine learning. With a deeper understanding of data analysis, Kuiliang decided to take a gap year to do a full-time internship as a data analyst for Didi.

Despite a dramatically increased workload and complexity of data, he developed a machine learning model to predict passenger churn rates and future turnover with an accuracy rate of 90%. "This internship has broadened my horizons and I’m more determined to become a data analyst," Kuiliang said.

Before the pandemic, Kuiliang had planned to pursue a Master’s in data analysis. “I was quite anxious because of the disruption.” He recalled that Patti Wallace, Head of the University Counselling Service, gave him great support. “She helped me to figure out my real thoughts and embrace the uncontrollable factors in life.”

He finally turned to seek for employment and stood out among numerous excellent competitors to obtain the offer from ByteDance. “Studying business let me know how to communicate and cooperate, and campus entrepreneurship taught me management. What I learned and experienced gave me the confidence to face any possible difficulties.” Kuiliang summarised job hunting as obstacles, luck and capability.

Although clear about his passion and career direction, Kuiliang never stopped enriching his own knowledge and capabilities. “I know my prospective colleagues are superb, so I want to take the half-year before work to review what I have learned.”
