本獎學(xué)金以人才發(fā)展為紐帶，推動“一帶一路”國家和地區(qū)優(yōu)秀青年來華學(xué)習(xí)，以期為“一帶一路”參與國家和地區(qū)培養(yǎng)一大批復(fù)合型、實踐性的高端人才，積極推動成就政治互信、經(jīng)濟融合、文化包容的利益共同體、責任共同體和命運共同體。

一、獎學(xué)金資助對象

1.語言生

符合入讀華僑大學(xué)全日制本科條件（除中文水平要求外），須進行中文水平提升的印度尼西亞籍學(xué)生。

2.本科生

符合入讀華僑大學(xué)全日制本科條件的“一帶一路”沿線國家和地區(qū)的學(xué)生。

1.語言生

資助名額：8人。

資助年限：采用1+4的資助方式，即中文語言學(xué)習(xí)1年+本科學(xué)習(xí)4年。

其中語言學(xué)習(xí)期間原則上只資助一學(xué)年。一學(xué)年的語言學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)束后，學(xué)生中文水平應(yīng)達到擬升讀本科專業(yè)所要求的HSK水平，并通過學(xué)院的考核。未達到條件者，可繼續(xù)進行語言學(xué)習(xí)。繼續(xù)進行語言學(xué)習(xí)期間的費用由學(xué)生個人承擔。

經(jīng)過一年語言學(xué)習(xí)，符合條件的，可以升讀我校相關(guān)本科專業(yè)，并獲得本科期間的獎學(xué)金。

資助名額：25-30人（不含語言生升讀本科8人），以當年度實際情況為準。

資助年限：4-5年/人，以學(xué)生入讀本科專業(yè)的正常學(xué)制為準。

四、獎學(xué)金申請條件

1.遵守法律法規(guī)，品學(xué)兼優(yōu)、身心健康的“一帶一路”沿線國家和地區(qū)的青年學(xué)生。其中申請語言學(xué)習(xí)者須為印度尼西亞國籍。

2.高中畢業(yè)或同等學(xué)歷，中學(xué)階段學(xué)習(xí)成績優(yōu)秀，年齡不超過22歲，符合華僑大學(xué)本科專業(yè)入學(xué)條件。

3.符合入讀相關(guān)本科專業(yè)的中文水平（語言學(xué)習(xí)除外）。

4.已獲得其他類型新生獎助學(xué)金的，不再享受本獎學(xué)金的資助。

七、獎學(xué)金申請流程及材料

注冊并登錄華僑大學(xué)境外生本科網(wǎng)上報名系統(tǒng)http://admissions.hqu.edu.cn/，填寫基本信息，上傳申請材料。

申請人須提供以下基本材料：

1.華僑大學(xué)陳江和“一帶一路”獎學(xué)金申請表（附件1）

2.護照（有效期應(yīng)超過入學(xué)當年度9月份一年）。

3.經(jīng)認證的高中或同等學(xué)歷的畢業(yè)證書、各年級成績單、高中畢業(yè)或者大學(xué)升學(xué)考試成績單等。材料為外文的，須同時附上正式翻譯機構(gòu)做出的中文翻譯件并公證。

4.漢語水平考試（HSK）成績單（HSK成績須在180分以上）。馬來西亞華文獨中高中畢業(yè)生可提供UEC考試成績單，中文成績合格的，免于HSK考試。申請中文語言學(xué)習(xí)者無需提供。

5.畢業(yè)學(xué)校推薦信1份。

6.來華學(xué)習(xí)計劃1份。

7.外國人體格檢查表（可來校報到前提交）。

8.其他相關(guān)材料。

八、獎學(xué)金評審

1.獎學(xué)金評審按照公開、公平、公正、擇優(yōu)的原則進行。獲獎初選名單，在華僑大學(xué)相關(guān)負責部門網(wǎng)站公示無異議后，報華僑大學(xué)陳江和“一帶一路”獎學(xué)金評審委員會審批。

2.獲獎學(xué)生須按照學(xué)校規(guī)定的時間辦理報到、注冊手續(xù)，否則將按照自動放棄獎學(xué)金處理。

九、獎學(xué)金的發(fā)放

1.獎學(xué)金按照資助年限分學(xué)年發(fā)放。

2.獎學(xué)金優(yōu)先用于繳交學(xué)費、住宿費及活動經(jīng)費。學(xué)費和住宿費依據(jù)學(xué)生實際入讀專業(yè)和入住宿舍的費用標準進行繳納。

學(xué)校每年一次性發(fā)放學(xué)習(xí)補貼2000元，用于支付書本費、保險費、體檢費等相關(guān)費用。

3.生活補貼：按照學(xué)生當年度實際剩余費用，由學(xué)校統(tǒng)一逐月為學(xué)生發(fā)放。

十、獎學(xué)金生培養(yǎng)與管理

1.學(xué)校對獎學(xué)金獲得者每學(xué)年的表現(xiàn)進行綜合考核，合格者繼續(xù)享受下一學(xué)年的獎學(xué)金，不合格者暫�；蛉∠�其獎學(xué)金資助資格。

2.獎學(xué)金生來校學(xué)習(xí)后原則上不得變更專業(yè)或延長學(xué)習(xí)期限。如有特殊情況確需變更專業(yè)和延長學(xué)習(xí)期限，須向華僑大學(xué)提出申請，經(jīng)批準后方可變更。

3.獎學(xué)金生因個人原因休學(xué)、退學(xué)者，或者違反相關(guān)法律法規(guī)、規(guī)章制度的自動停止其獎學(xué)金資助資格。

Application Guide for Huaqiao UniversityTanoto Scholarship2024

In order to serve the country’s “Belt and Road” construction and support the “Belt and Road” talent training, Huaqiao University and Beijing Tanoto Foundation jointly set up Huaqiao University Tanoto Scholarship, which is funded by the foundation. (Hereinafter referred to as the “scholarship”)

With talent development as the link, this scholarship encourages outstanding young students along the “Belt and Road” countries/regions to study in China, with a view to cultivating a large number of high-end talents for the countries and regions participating in the “Belt and Road” initiative, and actively promoting the construction of a community of political mutual trust, economic integration and cultural inclusiveness.

I. Scholarship recipients

1. Language Student

Indonesian students who meet the requirements of full-time undergraduate program of Huaqiao University (except the Chinese proficiency) and need to improve their Chinese proficiency.

2. Undergraduate

Students from countries along the “Belt and Road” who meet the requirements of the full-time undergraduate program of Huaqiao University.

II. Scholarship funding amount

The scholarship funding amount is 30,000 yuan per person each academic year.

III. Scholarship funding quota and duration

1. Language Student

Funding quota: 8 students

Funding period: Adopting “1+4” aid mode, that is, 1 year of Chinese language study plus 4 years of undergraduate study.

In principle, only one academic year is funded during language learning. After one academic year of language learning, students should reach the HSK level required for the undergraduate programs and pass the assessment of the college. Those who do not meet the requirements may continue language learning. Expenses during the continuation of language studies are borne by the student personally.

And students who meet the above requirements can continue to study in relevant undergraduate programs in HQU and get scholarships during the undergraduate period.

2. Undergraduate

Funding quota: 25-30 students (excluding 8 language students who continue to study undergraduate programs), depending on the actual application and materials review of the current year.

Funding period: 4-5 years/person, the duration of the scholarship is consistent with the student’s duration of study.

IV. Scholarship application conditions

1. Young students with good character and excellent academic performance from countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”. Students should be sound in body and mind who abide by laws and regulations. Among them, applicants for language learning must be Indonesian citizens.

2. Students should be under 22 years old and meet the undergraduate admission requirements of Huaqiao University. A senior high school diploma or an equivalent and excellent academic performance in middle school are needed.

3. Meet the Chinese proficiency for admission to relevant undergraduate programs (except language learning).

4. Freshmen who have obtained other scholarships will not be eligible for this scholarship.

VI. Scholarship funding programs

Enrollment programs are subject to the actual situation of annual enrollment.

VII. Scholarship application process and materials

Applicants should register and log on https://admissions.hqu.edu.cn/ to submit the application and upload the application documents.

Scholarship application materials:

1. Application Form for Huaqiao University Tanoto Scholarship (Attachment 1);

2. Passport (Validity should be beyond September 2025);

3. The authenticated high school degree certificate (or equivalent), grade transcripts and high school graduation/college entrance examination transcripts; a Chinese translation made by an official translation agency must be attached and notarized if the materials are in foreign languages.

4. Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) transcript (HSK score must be above 180); Malaysian students of Sekolah Tinggi Persendirian Cina can provide UEC test transcripts and those who pass the Chinese test are exempted from the HSK test. HSK Certificate is no need for language students;

5. Recommendation Letter;

6. A Study Plan;

7. Physical Examination Report (valid for 6 months);

8. Other relevant materials

VIII. Scholarship evaluation

1. The scholarship evaluation shall be conducted under the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality. The primary list of winners will be submitted to Huaqiao University Tanoto Scholarship Committee for approval after there is no objection on the website of relevant departments of Huaqiao University.

2. Award-winning students must go through the registration procedures within the specified time, otherwise they will be treated as automatic waiver of the scholarship.

IX. Grant of scholarship

1. Scholarships are distributed by academic year according to the funding period.

2. The scholarship is preferentially used to pay tuition, accommodation fees and activity funds. Tuition and accommodation fees are paid based on the actual fees for students’ programs and dormitories.

The school provides a one-time subsidy of 2,000 yuan every year to pay for books, insurance, medical examinations, etc.

3. Living allowance will be distributed to students on a monthly basis according to the actual remaining expenses of the students in the current year.

X. Scholarship training and management

1. A comprehensive assessment on the performance of scholarship recipients will be conducted by Huaqiao University each academic year. Those who pass will be qualified for the scholarship for the next academic year, while those who fail will be suspended or cancelled the scholarship qualification.

2. In principle, scholarship students are not allowed to change their majors or extend their study period. An application of major changing or study period extending should be submitted to Huaqiao University and the Foundation for approval.

3. The scholarship eligibility will be suspended if the scholarship student is suspended or withdrawn for personal reasons, or if he/she violates relevant laws, regulations and rules.
