近日，科睿唯安公布了基本科學(xué)指標數(shù)據(jù)庫（Essential Science Indicators，簡稱ESI）最新一期統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)，寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)社會科學(xué)總論（一般社會科學(xué)）首次進入ESI全球前1%，這是繼2019年我校工程科學(xué)進入ESI全球排名前1%之后，第二個進入國際高水平行列的學(xué)科。

工程科學(xué)躍升至ESI全球前0.5%

ESI是基于SCI（科學(xué)引文索引）和SSCI（社會科學(xué)引文索引）所收錄的全球11000多種學(xué)術(shù)期刊的1000多萬條文獻記錄而建立的計量分析數(shù)據(jù)庫，已成為當今世界范圍內(nèi)普遍用以評價高校、學(xué)術(shù)機構(gòu)、國際/地區(qū)國際學(xué)術(shù)水平及影響力的重要評價指標工具之一。ESI前1%的學(xué)科一般被視為國際高水平學(xué)科。

值得一提的是，僅2年時間，寧諾工程科學(xué)已從ESI全球前1%躍升至全球前0.5%。根據(jù)文獻來源分析，寧諾“工程科學(xué)”檢索論文篇均引用為13.51，高于世界平均引用次數(shù)10.17。根據(jù)國際知名科研評價工具SciVal的統(tǒng)計，寧諾工程學(xué)科在最近5年發(fā)表的論文中，超過半數(shù)論文發(fā)表在世界前10%的頂尖期刊上，73%的論文發(fā)表在前25%的期刊上，學(xué)術(shù)影響力與國際名校相當。

對于一所成立僅17年的高校而言，這些數(shù)據(jù)充分彰顯了我校工程科學(xué)學(xué)科的高產(chǎn)、高質(zhì)和高速發(fā)展，標志著我校工程科學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)影響力比肩國際一流院校，是工程科學(xué)學(xué)科建設(shè)取得的突破性成果。

目前，寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)在工程學(xué)領(lǐng)域擁有2個省級重點實驗室（浙江省多電飛機技術(shù)重點實驗室、浙江省有機廢棄物轉(zhuǎn)化及過程強化技術(shù)重點實驗室）和3個市級重點實驗室（寧波市能源材料與技術(shù)重點實驗室、寧波市產(chǎn)品綠色制造評價及可重構(gòu)制造技術(shù)重點實驗室、寧波市清潔能源轉(zhuǎn)化技術(shù)重點實驗室）。材料科學(xué)與工程、化學(xué)工程與技術(shù)入選浙江省一流學(xué)科建設(shè)的隊伍，機械制造及其自動化入選浙江省重點學(xué)科，還有多個學(xué)科被評為寧波市重點學(xué)科。

“文科”整體水平上榜大陸64所機構(gòu)

此次寧諾新晉進入全球ESI前1%學(xué)科的為“社會科學(xué)總論”。它統(tǒng)計了一所大學(xué)所有社會科學(xué)相關(guān)學(xué)科的總體科研成果，一定程度反映一所大學(xué)“文科”的整體水平。

據(jù)公布數(shù)據(jù)顯示，我國大陸僅有64所機構(gòu)（包含高校與研究所）的“社會科學(xué)總論”進入世界前1%，寧諾為其中之一。寧諾總計檢索論文達230篇，篇均引用為7.67。其中被引頻次最高的為陳加信博士撰寫的關(guān)于中國“海綿城市”的文章。劉任遠教授發(fā)表的關(guān)于企業(yè)數(shù)字創(chuàng)新的論文、蔣陽陽博士發(fā)表的關(guān)于新冠疫情對酒店營銷管理影響的文章、巴拉吉博士（Balaji, M. S.）發(fā)表的關(guān)于旅行者選擇綠色酒店的研究均入選高影響論文。這充分說明在世界一流學(xué)科建設(shè)和高水平大學(xué)建設(shè)的目標指引和持續(xù)支持下，學(xué)�！拔目啤比〉昧孙@著的建設(shè)成效，國際化學(xué)術(shù)影響力日益顯現(xiàn)。

近年來，學(xué)校高度重視人文社會科學(xué)建設(shè)工作，基于新文科建設(shè)的整體構(gòu)想，大力推進人文社科領(lǐng)域的學(xué)科專業(yè)重新布局、人才引育和平臺建設(shè)，并取得了一系列的階段性成果。此前，我校“寧波市雙循環(huán)發(fā)展研究基地”和“寧波市影視文創(chuàng)產(chǎn)業(yè)國際化發(fā)展基地”分別獲批為寧波市社科研究發(fā)展基地和培育基地，為我校深化相關(guān)社會科學(xué)領(lǐng)域的研究、為服務(wù)寧波市的經(jīng)濟和社會發(fā)展獻計獻策提供了新的平臺。

另外，從我校ESI高影響論文的分布來看，博士生多篇科研成果入選高影響論文。寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)博士生高質(zhì)量培養(yǎng)由此顯現(xiàn)。

UNNC social sciences and engineering rank among best in the world

The research field of Social Sciences (General) at University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) ranks internationally in the top 1% in terms of quality, according to the latest statistical data of Essential Science Indicators (ESI) released by Clarivate. Following the engineering discipline, this is UNNC’s second discipline has entered the 1% ranking of ESI.

The ESI database is based on statistics drawn from more than 12 million articles in more than 12,000 journals from around the world, to deliver the in-depth coverage to effectively analyse and benchmark research performance, identify significant trends, rank top performers, and evaluate potential employees and collaborators. Discipline ranking in the top 1% of ESI is generally regarded as an international high-level discipline.

The engineering discipline at UNNC is now ranked in the top 0.5%, which indicates that the academic influence of our university's engineering discipline is equivalent to that of international first-class universities. It is also a breakthrough achievement in the construction of the engineering science discipline.

According to data from Clarivate, the papers that UNNC has published in the field of "Engineering" have average citations per paper of 13.51, higher than the world average of 10.17, with over half published in world top 10% journals, 73% on top 25% journals, equivalent to the level of world class universities.

Currently, UNNC has two provincial key laboratories and three municipal key laboratories in the engineering discipline. The disciplines of materials sciences and engineering and chemical engineering have been selected as first-class disciplines of Zhejiang Province, mechanical engineering selected as provincial key discipline, and multiple courses have been rated as key disciplines of Ningbo City.

Recently, UNNC entered the ESI’s world top 1% in the discipline of Social Sciences (General), being one of the 64 Chinese universities. It refers to the overall scientific research achievements of all social science disciplines in a university, covering a wide range of subjects including humanities and social sciences, engineering, medicine, and management, amongst others.

Under the category of Social Sciences (General), UNNC has published 230 papers, with average citations per paper of 7.67. Among them, a paper on “sponge city” in China written by Dr Faith Chan et al was the most frequently cited. In addition, Professor Martin Liu’s study on digital innovation, Dr Yangyang Jiang’s research of the effects of COVID-19 on hotel marketing and management, and Dr Balaji Makam’s study on travelers' propensity to choose green hotels were all listed among “Top Papers”.

In recent years, the University has attached great importance to the construction of humanities and social sciences, promoting the development of disciplines, talent introduction and platform construction, and achieved a series of phased results.

Earlier, the research base on Dual Circulation and Economic Development and research base on Internationalising Ningbo’s Screen Industries of UNNC were selected and approved respectively in the category of “Development” and “Cultivation” of the Ningbo Social Science Research Base, providing new platforms for UNNC to further social sciences research and to contribute to the economic and social development of Ningbo.

In addition, according to the distribution of the ESI Top Papers, many of them are from the researche of UNNC doctoral students, which shows the outstanding quality of doctoral education at UNNC.
