又是一年畢業(yè)季，正是許多高校畢業(yè)生忙投簡歷赴面試的關(guān)鍵期，而寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)的應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生葛芷昕在上海聯(lián)合利華總部上班已有一段日子了。

她越來越覺得自己當(dāng)初選擇了畢業(yè)入職是一件不錯(cuò)的體驗(yàn)，職場也是一所特殊的學(xué)校，要學(xué)習(xí)的東西更多，而讀研深造之路漫漫遠(yuǎn)兮，等全球疫情穩(wěn)定后可再提上議程。

葛芷昕是寧諾商學(xué)院國際商務(wù)與法語IBL專業(yè)的學(xué)生。大一的寒假她就參加了AIESEC組織在阿塞拜疆的海外志愿者項(xiàng)目，到了大二，她通過面試進(jìn)入敏實(shí)集團(tuán)度過了2個(gè)多月的暑期實(shí)習(xí)，大三的時(shí)候她又獲得了交換機(jī)會(huì)，前往法國諾歐商學(xué)院交換學(xué)習(xí)，也正是這次機(jī)會(huì)，讓她萌生了出國深造的想法。

葛芷昕回憶道：

“

在校期間，同學(xué)們?nèi)ッ�企�?shí)習(xí)、出國交換、公益實(shí)踐等這樣的機(jī)會(huì)有很多，往往靈感就是從中獲得的。比如我體驗(yàn)了歐洲大陸高等商學(xué)院的教學(xué)，在那里與來自全球各地的師生進(jìn)行溝通和交流，讓我獲益匪淺。

葛芷昕的假期都用在了參加活動(dòng)、海內(nèi)外游學(xué)和實(shí)習(xí)上

因此，葛芷昕回國之后計(jì)劃向英國、法國的幾所學(xué)校申研。但之后，受到了全球疫情的影響，她開始重新思考自己的未來規(guī)劃。她說，那個(gè)時(shí)候自己在國外已感受到了幾分疫情帶來的紛亂，或許在此大環(huán)境下，國內(nèi)就業(yè)會(huì)是更佳的選擇。

為何能在短時(shí)間做出這樣的決定？葛芷昕說，這個(gè)很大程度上要?dú)w功于寧諾教育理念里的一種“批判性思維”，其實(shí)就是獨(dú)立思考能力，這種理念作為基礎(chǔ)一直貫穿著他們整個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)生涯。

而且寧諾的每個(gè)學(xué)生都有一位個(gè)人導(dǎo)師，她的個(gè)人導(dǎo)師曾與她交流過，畢業(yè)之后的職業(yè)規(guī)劃不是單一性的，“所以本科畢業(yè)也不一定就要出國，可以換個(gè)角度，先工作，再深造！”葛芷昕說。而事實(shí)也證明這最適合當(dāng)下的自己。

葛芷昕前后在五家企業(yè)實(shí)習(xí)過，這其中有寧諾對接的企業(yè)，比如敏實(shí)集團(tuán)、寧波（中國）供應(yīng)鏈創(chuàng)新學(xué)院，也有她自己通過一些實(shí)習(xí)分享群獲得的機(jī)會(huì)，比如明基、阿里巴巴和聯(lián)合利華。在這些企業(yè)里，她嘗試過不同的崗位，比如人力資源、市場銷售。對于一個(gè)商科學(xué)生，這樣的實(shí)踐對她很重要，而她也通過這些實(shí)踐發(fā)現(xiàn)了自己目前更喜歡參與工作的樂趣。

我的實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷如此多樣化，離不開寧諾強(qiáng)大的校友圈，比如有實(shí)習(xí)分享群，學(xué)術(shù)分享群等等，優(yōu)秀的學(xué)長學(xué)姐們都會(huì)撥出時(shí)間給我們分享他們之前的實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

葛芷昕說，他們像是一種天然的傳承力，一屆一屆傳遞下去，作為學(xué)弟學(xué)妹的他們，拓展了視野，也獲得了不少資源，因此她也從實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷中更加了解了自己的需求。

葛芷昕說，在寧諾四年，無論學(xué)習(xí)還是生活都過得非常精彩，對本土文化有了一定的認(rèn)同感，也開拓了國際視野，最終通過內(nèi)心的需求找到自己最理想的當(dāng)下，無愧青春了！

葛芷昕的媽媽對女兒的這段學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷也給出了大大的肯定。她說，雖然女兒的學(xué)業(yè)暫告一段落，但社會(huì)也是一座很好的大學(xué)，寧諾作為孩子跟世界連接的一種橋梁、一個(gè)平臺(tái)，在女兒的人生中起到了關(guān)鍵性的作用。

UNNC connects student to a broader world

Zhixin Ge, a graduating year four student of International Business with French at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), has already started her first job at Unilever’s Shanghai headquarters, while many of her peers are still considering the choices for their future.

She believes that the workplace also has a lot for her to learn, and from campus to the workplace, UNNC played a crucial part for her.

When Zhixin was a year one student, she participated in AIESEC’s volunteer project in Azerbaijan during the winter break; in year two, she did an internship at Minth Group, a renowned automobile body part manufacturer. In year three, Zhixin seized the opportunity to go on exchange at the NEOMA Business School in France.

"In college, there are numerous opportunities for students to do internships at famous enterprises, study overseas, or volunteer at home or abroad – through which inspiration occurs. For example, I experienced the education of a world class business school in Europe and had chances to communicate with professors and students from all over the world, which I enjoyed a lot," Zhixin recalled. She hoped to study for a Master’s in the UK or France.

However, soon Zhixin noticed the chaos and risks of traveling abroad caused by the pandemic and realised that it might be a better choice to find a job domestically first. “UNNC has always emphasised the development of critical thinking, so it didn’t take me long to make this decision,” she said.

Zhixin admits that it turned out to suit her the best. Through the University and information-sharing groups, she has tried various posts from HR to marketing in her five internship experiences. As a business student, she values practice, which also enlightened her passion in work.

“The strong alumni connection at UNNC also benefited me a lot, such as the sharing of excellent senior students,” Zhixin said. She appreciates the support from alumni, which broadened her vision and offered attainable resources. To Zhixin, the four-year undergraduate study helped her develop an international vision and clarify her real passion, giving her courage to strive for an ideal future.
